My Blogs:

• Sex Offender Issues, News, Recidivism and Studies -- Initially this blog was started to be a replacement for my "News &  Noteworthy" website, however, as I found other items related to sex offenders or sex offenses I began to record them as well, today those other items are being transferred to the following "Statistics" blog.

• Sex Offender Statistics --  The purpose of this blog is to keep track of various statistics, reports, and studies related to sex offenders or sex offenses.

• Sex Offenders' Aged & Disability Issues, & the Americans with Disability Act --  This blog is established to identify and develop, age and/or disability issues, related to - former sex offenders - who are required to register under a state or the federal registry (SORNA).  This is a ongoing project as more and more registrants get older and have specialized problems related to their requirements under these registries. 

• Sex Offender Murders -- The purpose of this blog is to document deaths (murders, and suspicious or unexplainable deaths, or killings when that term is more appropriate than murder based on the circumstances of a specific case), occurring to folks who are sex offenders (past or present, registered or not) or persons accused of sex offenses.

• Sex Offender Vigilantism -- The purpose of this blog is to document, through credible news reports and research, incidents of vigilantism and revenge -subtle to severe- that have or are occurring to folks whose lives touch on sex offenses or sex offenders, including those who are perceived to have committed a sex offense.  In addition to acts against those persons we have included acts against persons who are associated with those persons. Subtle to severe but excludes homicides of the forgoing persons which is documented in another blog.

• Sex Offender Suicides -- The purpose of this blog is to document suicides by sex offenders and persons accused of sex offenses, statistical totals are provided.  In addition, the blog is used to record other deaths of the same folks by natural causes, however, these are not included in statistical totals.

• Deaths of Others -- There are times when persons are killed by a sex offender or person accused of a sex offense who themselves are not either a sex offender or person accused, the deaths of these folks are recorded in this blog. An example, suppose a sex offender commits suicide but also kills his wife in the process. i.e., murder-suicide.  There are many other examples for which it is best to read the circumstances of each case to understand why they are being recorded.
